Greetings from the critique Club. Usually well done photos like this that score well dont need alot of help with critiqueing, This isnt an exception. Its a well done shot with pretty good techniques. Obviously some PP would help this shot, however not having that option with this challenge. You did very well out of the camera. A couple of quick suggestions I might add would have been to change the composition slightly so that the foreground wasnt so big. The horizon of the lake/mountain is almost dead center. You might also try to use a graduated ND filter and longer shutter. Other then that I cant suggest any improvements. Very well done shot and placement. |

well, it's a soothing scene, and I really like the light here...yet, for my tastes, there's too much foreground shoreline and you probably should have either included either all or none of the structure on the right...cutting it in half hurts the overall context, IMO. |

I really like the atmosphere in this image. There is just enough left in the background to make out the hills. Nice image. High score. |

Wow!!! Nice shot!! The mountains in the background look great.
I would have liked the picture a lot more if it wasn't so square though. |

I like the haze and the little bits of the hills that are just being kissed by the sunlight. |

Gorgous job, i would be sure to pay attention to the line of land on opposite side, it is listing slightly, but still this is a fabulous photo! |

wow, it took me a second to realize what was in the background - the mountains look so soft and the highlights made them look like gossamer curtains. this is a nice photo and i think it could be improved if the line forming the distant edge of the lake was along the bottom line of thirds to frame the boat subject better against the mountains in the background. |

Beautiful photo with great composition. However, my eye was drawn to the boat and it is a little out-of-focus. |

Beautiful capture! HOW, oh how, I wish you'd leveled the camera for this one :-) Reminds me of Northern California, Tomales Bay or some such location... |
