How delightfully old-fashioned! Very clear photo in B&W form. Effective use of elements and tight composition. Nice. |

Nice B&W. Nice lighting, great contrast. Nice texture on the ruler, paper and the wheel. The ribbon holder may be a bit too much "washed out dead space" and there is a strange square around "Dear Mom", which doesn't look like it belongs, otherwise fantastico! Keystroke in motion is a great adea, even better with slower shutter! Nice! |

Apparently you don't have much to say to her. :P (J/K). I like the sharpness here. Great job capturing the paper's texture and not blowing it out. The sides of the typewriter seem a bit too bright but it's not a huge distraction. Also, nice touch going b/w here. The only suggestion for improvement is have more typed on the page. It would have made the image hold the attention of the viewer longer. |

I like this. Great that you can see the paper's texture. I especially like that the letter is nearly empty. |

What I like: Very sharp w/ a good focus. Black and white works well. Great composition.

The B&W conversion is very effective and well executed. I wonder how this would look with a little more noise to similute film grain. |

I like the contrast in here, it's almost like a still shot of an old film. |

Very simple. I like it. B/W is perfect for this too. |

I think that is a lost occasion. good the idea but with the text far of the head of printer it seems that the photo is "constructed". I think that a more tightened point of view, a better detail on the machine and the text near the head of printer was perfect(in another contest even with a small movement of the head...). Very good your choice for the black and white. this shot provokes in me great imagination...I imagine an ash tray full and the smoke of a cigarette that they knows and a man with the shirt white who writes.....but peraphs I exaggerate.
Best regards 6 |

Interesting view of an antique :-) and, of course the B&W treatment is perfect. I think it would have been better if it wasn't to "Mom". Pretty impersonal to write a letter on a typewriter. Also, why is there some white box around "Dear Mom"? |
