It took me a week of contemplating the theme and 15 min of shooting. Ordinary single roof light in the toilet was the only lighting used. cropped and levels slightly adjusted. Slow shutterspeed of 1/6 sec at f2.8 to compensate for low light.

Peculiar perpective, but a clean shot! I am ambivalent about this image... and that means it is definitely conveying something. I'm glad it's not my stationery though.

What I like: funny, did the ink dye the water blue?

What might improve it: Pictures of a toilet are probably really hard to get a good score on, unless maybe they are INSANELY CLEAN and sterile looking. Which would require a pure white toilet with lots of color adjustments probably.

The stationery appears to be taking a back seat (Pun intended) in this photo. Technically the photo is well executed butt (intended also) there isn't much there that appeals emotionally or to the eye.

Nice idea. As far as your picture is concerned, I would increase the contrast to bring out the shadows, adjust the white balance a bit because it has a slight yellow colour cast at the moment, and sharpen it. When you've done these you'll find the picture would have a more depth to it and not appear quite so flat.
