 The most stationary bumble bee I've ever run into. I took this picture outside the men's and women's shower rooms at the camp facilities over at Crater Lake. The bumble bee was trapped in the window so like any good photographer I ran back to my car got my camera gear and headed towards the showers. I don't think the women were too pleased I was in proximity of the shower facilities with a camera as intimidating as mine. I think the men were astonished I'd sit face to face with such a large insect. This is full crop (actual image size is impressive). NeatImage, hue/saturation, resize, save for web.

A great capture and the only thing lacking is the complete reflection of the insect on the left side of the image. Bumping up from my original score.
