I think you were going for a 3-D composition, but the tight crop makes me see it as flat.

Also, ouch on the title. I was smiling, thinking of a grammar problem making someone go cross-eyed, and then the title stopped that dead in its tracks.

WOW! Rather powerful idea, and I'm happy to note (get it?) that it's been crumpled up and discarded -- after being photographed with wit and skill.

LOL Okay, so suicide isn't funny, but the idea of someone rewriting multiple drafts of their suicide note for proper grammer is. I'll have to share this one with my fellow English majors. Best of luck to you! 9

Nice detail of the paper. Nicely lit. Could use more contrast.

I'm sitting here reading the perfectly focused lettering, admiring the nice texture of the paper. Then I scroll down and catch the title. I nearly wet myself laughing. Nice job.

Sorry, but your title made me score you down a point.

Funny concept on a depressing subject. The textures and shadows make this more than a crinkled paper shot and works quite well IMO.

Using paper with different textures and coloration effectively conveys the concept that the writer used up almost all of the paper sources available in his/her attempt to do it right. The featured note in the front looks like it was written on a paper bag from the store, which emphasizes this concept even more. Nicely done.

A couple of red drops of blood (real or fake) would really make this shot.

Brilliant! Outstanding idea, well composed, good choice of toning and framing, almost perfectly exposed (some burnt lights, though) - 9

EDIT: Like your kind of humour...

Not quite gloomy enough for the title here I don't think, maybe higher contrast and less light would've been good

All that, then I bet the person tried to jump out of a basement window :O)
Nto only is this a good photo, it has taht one element that is often in too short a supply, that being humour.

I commend you on a very innovative approach to this challenge, and a well executed image. GOOD LUCK IN THE CHALLENGE.
