That's a great sky. The power lines don't add to your shot though. |

I like the silhouette effect. I would have cropped the yellow mark on the right to obtain a complete silhouette. |

I don't really know where this photo is going to.
Maybe you could have zoomed into the cross, right on top of the steeple and then silhouetted it in the setting sun.
Maybe you could have gotten closer to the steeple and shot from directly below, at street level, making it seem even more grandiose against the blue sky.
This reminds me of a casual shot taken through the window of a tour bus, and lacks all of the punch which makes a good shot great. |

I almost rated this lower because I thought the steeple was tilted but looking closer at the roofline to the right, it actually may be. I like how busy this photo is for being stationary. Try making a vertical crop retaining the steeple and the bird (but loosing the light in the lower right) and I think you will see a much stronger image. Still giving this a 7 |

It would have been nice to see the church. It looks like a sooty industrial area with the dark clouds and those wires in the foreground. |
