Resized, Enhanced Contrast/Saturation/Lighting, USM, Midday today I began to think about the importance of trees in our world, the wonderful texture of pine bark & the fact that stationery (paper) comes from trees. Nice to draw two contests together into one, right?

As always "Thank You!" to all the kind folks who voted in some way for this photo. It is nice to have a third photo in one week to finish 4.8 or higher. In some ways it appears almost gauche, even to me, to cheer for such low scores, yet these are very high scores to me. (It's all in the perspective, right?)

"The Bottom Line" is actually two factors that dictate much right now in my choices of subject. My best is still nature photography and digital photography is an insanely hard task master for me. (Film has always made me look much better by comparison.)
