this took me a second ... Ok 10 seconds. After understanding that it does actually meet the challenge, I'm trying to look deeper into the image. The little plant in contrast with the large trees does create a theme of growth and possibility. Not really sure if the crop on the head is what I would have picked but it isn't an image-killer. The back of the chair definitely should be removed IMO the photo would be much stronger. The lighting is nice and I think it's worth a 7 since you have balanced tones and hints of symbolism. |

This is a lovely portrait, but if it weren't for the title, I would never associate it with the number 10. |
