Title comes from that the goose was paddling around the pond with other geese and for a couple moments it would just float around. There are no ripples in the water showing motion so for a moment it was stationary.
I read this challenge as something that can move but is stationary for the photo, not something that is fixed or unable to move.

The calm of the water around the goose definitely says stationary to me. However, the placement of the goose in the image leaves a considerable amount of negative space in the bottom left of the picture. This negative space doesn't really add to the picture, as the orientation of the goose and the shadows in the water lead your eye away from the negative space. The focus on the goose also appears to be sharpest on the rear end instead of the head.

I've never had much luck with a duck.
I think you've done better.
Good luck!
