This is a great picture, but I'm not to found of the tops of the pilings being at the same level as the stuff in the background horizon. |

good decision to line the pilings up with the horizon. they seem to be holding up the sky, which is almost blank but actually has a puffy texture to it. the overall effect is quite surreal and switches visually. sometimes we see the pilings, sometimes they turn into a check pattern with the ground behind them. sometimes the foreground seems to be the subject. sometimes we can glimpse the landscape and forget the pilings are there, but just for a moment. I love this sort of visual epilepsy. 9 |
