It's just the only thing I shot this week that could be even remotely related to the challenge. the circles are perhaps repetitive...and the marks on the counter. I found the light and shadow fascinating, so captured this one shot very quickly in the midst of a different kind of shoot.

I can see the repetition here. It might be clearer if you focused on the shadow more or perhaps found a point of view that allowed us to see more light in the holes. Nice idea and nice tones. B/W a good choice.

cool interpretation of category...i get it...i just hope other do...like you i go out on a limb any usually get penalized for thinking outside the box. good luck.. cool shot. good texture.

The texture of the ground is good, and the shadow is good, but the strainer is a little muddy. A simple muted flash would be good.
