 Because of the extreme wide angle and the full frame sensor the lines generate a nice perspective feel to this image. To ensure the verticals stayed (almost) vertical, and didn't converge I climbed to 10ft off the ground (onto a very narrow fence post) before taking the shot.

PS work:
Crop and slight rotate.
Levels to find white/black point
curves to play with mid tone contrast
2 layers of selective colour adjustment to make the house stand out a little more, lots of darkenning the blues, whilst brightening the yellows/reds and greens
saturation to further refine the colours
added a photo filter warming effect adjustment layer
sharpen

Nice image. You should try to see if a puzzle company might be interested in buying this one. Looks like it would definitely make a great jigsaw puzzle.

Nice work, love the look of the image, the color composition and the actual composition, well framed. Only nitpick is I wish the sky were just a hint darker, but that´s hard with basic editing so I didn´t deduct any points. 8 from me, I really like this shot.

It's funny, (or not) but it seems as though perspective, notwithstanding the title's insistence, is the one thing that isn't right in this beautiful chocolate box of a picture.
