My daughter Joyah
I wanted to show her vulnerability as a girl aged 10 also I think she's georgeous and i love tsking photos of her!Played a bit with levels, diffuse glow and dodge and burn on her eyes. i also cloned out some stray hairs across her forehead. Would have liked to have brought out some more colour on her lips

I always like portraits with this point of view. focus and DoF is good.
maybe center her a bit to make it more symmetric, but I'm not sure if that's what you like? a small crop on the right would do good for this photo I think.
when doding/burning eyes you might keep it the same level, her left eye is a bit darker then the other one.

This is a really beautiful portrait, I love the softess and focus!, I also love her expression!.. maybe you could crop part of the top of the hat?..either way its gonna look great in your living room ;)

really narrow DOF makes this feel out of focus - wider aperture with the nose in focus would make this a stronger photo -

While we're at it - this feels like a wide angle lens - have fun with it and move her nose to the top of the frame to distort it more - that look is very "in" right now.

Hope that's helpful.

I like the different perspective used here.

Needs catchlights... Her eyes look alittle dull as is...

ok...I like this, the colour etc...the only thing I don't like is the choice of lens...the wide angle has really given this pretty face an unflattering look...perhaps using a small telephoto or something around 50mm and stepping back would have made this really outstanding

Beautiful portrait. I think her face is very unique and beautiful.
