What's the disaster? Spilt water? It's a bit noisy, and the compositions kind of stiff.

Disaster? If that were the last bottle of water on Earth, maybe.

Good timing to get the water droplets but I think that there is a bit too much background in this shot that distracts from the main focus.

disaster might be a little harsh ;) good pic.

Definately an oops... nice action shot. Not sure how it relates to a 'cookout disaster'. Might have more impact if there was less on top and you showed the grill or someone sitting below it??

A little bit out of focus but good idea.

It might have more spark and wow if you would have showed other foods from the cookout with the water bottle spashing them.

Focus is off....Looks a little TOO staged.

I can think of a lot more disasterous situations for a cook-out ;)

This would have been more effective if the water was spilling over the grill. Good attempt at capturing the spilling water.

Good capture a little motin blur. Good Depth of Field.

would be great if only shutter speed was little faster so it was sharper.. not sure about the composition either
