Just going through the results, and was sad to see this one in 128th place! I love the shallow DOF and the focus, and even though I'm not really fond of feet photos I still like this one. Definately one to be proud of... keep up the great work! |

You're 9? Wow, that's a sophisticated photo from an adult let alone a 9 year old. I look forward to seeing some of your other work. My point about the state of those toe nails stands :o) but I am even more impressed by the other facets I mentioned in my comment now I realise your age! Well done indeed! |

if there are people telling you the DOF is too shallow - tell them to shut up cause I LOVE this kind of photography. So you and I are right and they are dumb. (look at Hannah in my portfolio and the un-enlightened comments my beautiful shallow DOF received!) :-)
Love this - did I mention that? It makes me feel - great composition - 9 |

I don't like feet - I have a bit of a phobia. But I overrode it because this one looked so interesting in the thumbnails (and as I'm not voting I can cherry pick which entries I view and comment on). But I closed the window immediately on first sight of those dirty, overgrown toenails! I've braved a return to make a comment since I feel it's only fair! I don't mean to be offensive, I hope you won't take it that way, but I really feel that this aspect lets the picture down a great deal and it's a shame because the composition is marvellous, the colour is rich and beautiful and the shallow depth of field just perfect. In an artistic presentation like this the state of these toenails/ feet just doesn't fit, in my mind. A reshoot after a pedicure would be a photo indeed! :o) |

The soft focus doesn't seem to work. |

wonderful photo, the perspective makes it difficult to appreciate. |

I'm not sure why I liked this one, feet are not something I'm particularly fond of seeing. LOL. I guess good technical execution always speaks for itself. |
