Used a dead hard drive that I have had around for a while. I have had this idea for a while (projecting binary of a challenge title onto a hard drive) and have to thank dogz for inspiration. I could not decide on a color version or this blue-tinted black and white. I know the title is cheezy but I thought it would be worthwhile to explain the '1010' in hope that people would get it.
In PS- rotated, converted to B/W with split toning. Added blue tint using curves, resize, usm, added border, save for web

I think this was one of the best of the challenge. Wish I'd had the time to get around to voting all of them - you'd have gotten a high vote from me.
Somebody else used this idea too, but yours was perfectly executed. Well done.

Yes this is a better picture of a digital hard drive. The framing is to much though.

Very nice rendition of the challenge. I like the cool, metallic tones, it really reinforces the technological nature of the image. Simple but still has points of interest for the eye to linger on. Lighting looks good though I'd like to see the left side of the image just a bit brighter. Also, I do not like the border, too thick IMO. 6.
