Another image I think is great as it is. I don't need the full face - I have enough to build the rest in my mind - isn't that what photography is about - the viewer 'finishing the image?' In voting, I think this image also suffers from the challenge it was entered in and would have scored much higher in a better suited challenge. DPC voters are a literal bunch. If it doesn't punch them in the eye, most don't take the time to consider possibilities. This image is full of possibilities. Very well taken and edited. |

I like this composition. Maybe both eyes would have been cool but it is creative and interesting to see only one - something you don't see everday. Excellent focus, lighting, and color. I might have trimmed a couple of inches off the right of the pic. |

Sorry, I for one am not really all that fond of the half face composition, I normally like it but here it just isn´t working for me, I feel like I am looking at half a photograph. Not bad though so I gave it a 5. |

I love the skewed angle and the deep orange in contrast to the deep dark eye. |

Unusual...therefore I like:)) Strong bold composition. Takes a minute to work it out, so it holds your attention. That eye is gorgeous. 9 |

I like the shot, but wish the whole face was in the crop...it looks a little od to only have one eye in this particular shot |
