 This is my husband's 96 year old grandmother. She lived a long life after surviving the Armenian genocide as a young child and witnessing the killing of her father and younger sister. I wondered if she was thinking more of her past or her future as I took this picture. She died several months later, having lived a very full life.

I really like this photo. I find it to be very emotive in itself, not to mention with the story that goes along with it. It looks as though you "captured" a memory.
