 Some kind of a beautiful sand formation that I tried to capture in a macro mode. My lens is probably not fit for that, as I get some blur where I do not want it as it is too close. The original picture was desaturated and I used level adjustment tool to bring out the contrast..

I think the image would have been better if there was something 'live' in it such as an insect or running water.

I love taking close-ups of interesting nature, I am glad someone else does too. It is not always about full landscapes and sunsets (or flowers)... right, LOL. I love this and the B&W was a good choice.

Great b&w conversion that shows the texture of the subject very well.

nice macro capture of the texture I sand (I hope!!!).
good lighting and shadows used.
only nit pick is that I would have liked a bigger image.

Nice macro. Wonder what your fstop was, and if the wind was blowing because it's especially interesting where it is really sharp.
