Good Grief! As as big fan of Nevil Shute's work, and even with the huge hint in your title, I never made the connection. Not how I thought of the setting for his Down Under, extremely compelling novel.
Glad to have another chance to look at this image.

I like how you're trying new things with different results. It's not a dpcfriendly photo but I think some people might like it. |

Woot! Congrats on three-hundred-fifteenth place and sub-4 score, bear! ;-) Your comments should read "straight out of the camera" ;-)
gegegeâ„¢ Long as you're happy with it - seriously. :) |

Oh good god - what happened, Bear? I didn't vote on "beach" by the way.
Hey, at least yours isn't DQ'ed like mine did, LOL.
Anyway, I won't say I like this shot because I'm not sure if I liked it, but after reading your description, I do agree that it has got that 70's hippy kinda colours and look. Cool effects - this one I'd give ya ;)

Brilliant colors, spooky effect. How did you manage it within the Basic Editing rules?? |

Trippy man. I always wondered what a visit to the beach would look like on 'shrooms... |

Interesting take and definitely something different. Though the title does explain the post processing, I sometimes wonder how many viewers do get the references in images like this. |

I'm sure that this image is getting hammered much like mine, but I love it.
I love when fellow DPCers, take the more artistic approach with things. This is certainly interesting and stimulates my brain.
Congrats to you my friend. |

The color shift and high density of hot-spots just doesn't work for me... |
