Likely to get voted down for not meeting the challenge enough, but in my interpretation it does! The colours of the sunset were fantastic but I thought that the message came out more in b/w.

Beautiful b&w shot. Composition is very interesting with the monument up front. You were able to capture some wonderful clouds. The sunlight peeking out is really nice. The silhouette of the landscape blends right in to the clouds. The framing really adds a nice touch to the piece.

Perhaps the fill flash could be a little less strong, but nice photo anyway. The sky is what makes it work.

Great clouds they almost look like waves on a beach. Nice contrasts too.

Your sky is great..the lighting very powerful..I especially like the setting sun...directing the eye to the statue..somehow I find the statue looks overly sharpened and in too much of a contrast to the background. Are these 2 separate
shots?

Wow, what an incredible scene. The darkness and lightness of the black and white is extraordinary, and your composition is perfect. Simply awesome.

Fasinating. Can we see the colour version later? And I would have rotated this one just a bit to make the bottom of the monument level with the frame.

I like most of the lighting. The left side of the statue seems artificial though. Fill flash?
