A pair of Six-Spot Burnet Moths doing what they like to do best ;)

Often these moths can be found still paired after a long night...like these two.

They can be challenging to photograph, the black areas of the head and body can block up completely. Adding artificial light tends to put unnatural colours into the wings, so soft light and reflectors seem to be the order of the day.
