Cool, but is somewhat lacking in composition. Also get rid of that timestamp!

The composition is too centered, without dinamic. Colours are weak. Good focus, but it can be better. Read the manual of your camera and turn of the date and time.

The time stamp adds effect, it makes it seem even more like a ONE
07/30/2006 06:59:27 PM
Try to remouve the date stamp in your camera settings. I find this is too much of a distraction.

take off your date stamp
07/28/2006 07:19:38 PM
um.... yea, gotta get that date and time off of there...
07/28/2006 09:47:45 AM
Needs better lighting, better focus. Turn off time stamp in camera, or at least crop it out.

Date and Time? Very distracting.
07/27/2006 01:58:30 PM
too simple just like point & shoot.3

Tip...turn off the date/time stamp on your camera

To be brutally honest, this shot is fairly mundane, and will probably hold little interest for most. Perhaps a shot from the side, with other green plants in the background and a shallow depth of field would be more captivating. Also think about bumpin the saturation and sharpening somewhat.

OMG. please turn the date/time function off.
07/26/2006 06:21:47 PM
You'll probably get DQ'ed for having the date stamped in your picture.
Besides that, there's nothing that I find amusing about this picture.
07/26/2006 05:55:06 PM
try to turn the time stamp off, great idea
07/26/2006 03:51:15 PM
Date/time stamp doesn't help the picture, I am sure you have gotten plenty of comments on this but just in case you didn't .. just remember in the future...

turn off the time/date stamp. I think you'll get DQ'd for this.
07/26/2006 11:59:16 AM
should have cloned out the time and date.
07/26/2006 11:07:37 AM
C'mon, try to not to take a picture with a date in it....
07/26/2006 09:22:17 AM
I think you've got to figure out a way to get rid of that red date on your photos. It is really distracting and kinda spoils it. Otherwise, the photo is allright. Try to play around with composition, don't automatically place the bud front and centre. Experiment to find more exciting viewpoints.

Remove the date from the image. It needs to be shot from a different perspective so that there is a true background. AS it is, the pod of the flower is the subject and the background is brown.

Turn of the date/time on your camera!
07/26/2006 07:01:54 AM
why don't you unselect the date option? (or at least, clone it out or crop it off)
07/26/2006 05:55:47 AM
you really need to turn the date stamp off on your camera - at least for entries as it really distracts from the subject matter
