Jeesh mona! I could have sworn you were on my favs! Saw you had added susi and found that you weren't! Very sorry for the oversight! Love the detail in this and the the nice tight crop.

I love the angle of view as well as the color and the detail. It's visceral, like I'm the same size and face to face with the insect (a yellow jacket?).

Nice shot. Good composition and pleasant colours. Looks like the head could be a just a bit sharper, though. Difficult one to get the exposure right on, as the insect's head is much darker than the flower.
