| Is this a hummingbird moth? I've seen some in my garden and their wings are fluttering like a humminbird's. I'm surprised that you captured such stillness. Great shot and beautiful colors. |

| Nice catch - must have used a high shutter speed to freeze the wings like that. Ironically, might have been more impressive to get a bit of motion in the wings, to show that it's flying and not landed |

| The motion of the subject is TOO frozen. It would actually be better with the wings a little bit blurry to show that they are flapping. It looks like a dart stuck in a dart board. Direct flash is harsh and unflattering. |

| Excellent capture. I get these moths clinging to the outside of the house all the time. They look big enough to be birds! Clarity and lighting are great. The purple flower adds interest. |
