Nice use of Black space "7" Dogman ;-)

Plain, simple, well done. I don't see any "flaws" in this shot. Textures are well displayed. The pink/white/black contrast is very nice. Low "excitement" shot. On the good side, I talked you up from a 6 to a 7! Swash

I love the contrast between the rough outer shell, and how smooth it is inside. Great colors as well.

this is definitely interesting texture. I think the shell is slightly over exposed... the lighting is a little overpowering and it is creating a few harsh shadows as well. This particular photo may be an example of where some minor diffusion of the flash would be helpful. You can accomplish this by trying things like bouncing the flash off the ceiling if your flash tilts... if not, you could tape a small piece of tissue paper over the flash... = 6 - jmsetzler

The shell looks great - excellent detail and sharp. I like that. I think it would have looked better if there was some sort of texture in the background, as well. Maybe on sand or something that wouldn't overpower the shell itself. But the fact that you got the background so dark and sharp is very impressive.

I DO see texture here but, it seems to be more a photo representing "contrast".

beautiful piece! Very good job on lighting. The shadows are minimal, yet there is excellent depth. I also note a tack sharp focus throughout. Well done.

nice contrasts with black background, smooth and rough textures

From this angle, the texture really isn't shown well. Try flipping the shell over.

Pretty but I believe the composition could of been better it the light was better. It's a nice clear shot and it's got textue. Kee
