awesome picture but, in my opinion, it doesn't fit the challenge. I know the ants are black but there's no white.

I don't see white.

Sorry, but IMHO there's way too much color in this to meet the spirit of the challenge.

I'm not quite sure how this fits the challenge

Not sure how this meets the challenge, but a nice photo otherwise.

excellent photo - doesn't look greyscale to me though, might just be my monitor ;-)

Had this been a flower challenge you could have cloned out the subject of this photo. Still, it's a funny photo and i appreciate the break from severe B&W.

Is this an OOPS? Posted in the wrong challenge? Cute title. ;^)

Killer title! Lovely pic, just not sure it meets the challenge well - very little black or white. I gave you a good score for a pic that DNMC, could be a 10 in say "DPC cliches with a twist"

Boy - I bet you are getting hit hard on this one. I guess my complaint would be that the flower seems to be the main subject at first with the ants coming second. Your title helps make the ants the primary and the shot is pretty nice. Not a dnmc IMO and a nice shot.

balck and white? ecellent macro with amazing color pop. sharp. would have scored higher if it had met challenge better--6 instead of 8-9-

This is a very pretty picture, and you do have two black ants, but the intense color and volume of the flower really jump out at me. Thus, perhaps not the best pic for this particular challenge.

The flowers completely overshadown your subject (the ants) The ants are also pretty blurry. Great photo of hte flower though.

perhaps this was entered in the wrong challenge?

Great shot, but not really getting any sense of black and white here. I see a black ant, but no white or grayscale. Again a great shot, just not meeting the challenge description.

it was BLACK AND WHITE

this seems to be, to be the opposite of a B&W photo taken in color.

Where are you... Black and White?????

You just made me laugh with that title!

Great focus and capture.

This is beautiful. Focus is really sharp and ant is nice and clear. However, it doesn't appear to be black and white. I know the ant is black, but the flower commands the eye on this one. Since many have done a wonderful job at keeping within the black and white idea, I can't in good conscience give this one a high score, though if it were entered in flowers, or spots or something it would do much better.
