Background - desaturate, darken, add contrast, despeckle, Dust and scratches.

Watch - Add more yellow and red, add contrast.

Entire photo - blur edges, darken, add contrast, tighten crop.

Jewelery shots are tough. this one is not in sharp enough focus and the background is not attractive. It meets the challenge in subject but not in quality IMHO. Keep trying...

never saw a peugeot watch before - how splendidly cool! the grey background does a good job of enhancing the gold in the picture, but there's a few compositional elements that make it less appealing - the side shot doesn't really work. if the watch was laid flat, and rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise, i think it might look better. it also needs to be sharper, really. 4.

It's nice, but it really lacks sharpness, and the lighting is a bit all over the place...perhaps a tripod would help?
