 You would think I have seen enough birds in my time that I would know them all, but sometimes one escapes me, like this one. If you know what it is, let me know. :-)

Since posting another picture, I have found this is a green back heron. Thank you all!

This is a Green Heron or "Little green Heron" I do beleive. Had to look it up on the net after seeing it. Beautiful shot.
