 Shot in Shop Street, Galway, during the Galway Arts Festival. I didn't shoot this with the challenge in mind but I think it fits nicely. Well, that's if the DNMC people can get over the yellow building, without which, this would be a very boring pic indeed.Hopefully this will get me out of the fours!

Crop,curves, selective colour, small amount of dodge & burn, reduce noise, add border, resize, USM, save for web.

My best yet. At least I got my beloved 50mm 1.4 into the top ten challenge scores for its type. Thanks for all your great comments. All appreciated :-)

The richness of color in this image is simply arresting. The strong diagonals along with the curves of the windblown fabrics provide a lot of visual interest to the composition. I've looked through your portfolio and you have a really good eye for perspective. Adding this to favorites!

A striking image to say the least. The blues and blacks just suck you in to see if there is more to see than just the obvious.

NIce. The highlighted wall ornamentation in the lower right distracts me a bit from the action of the flags, but overall I like this.

seems dark to my eye. i'm constantly drawn back to the lone light focus for my eye, around the window in the distance.

COOL. I like this alot. Very artfully done with that hint of gold to the left, as a compliment. The sense of movement adds an unexpected element. 8
