 I think this is the most dpc friendly subject ever made. However I don't like my photo of it. I think the composition could be a lot better and I think I failed the post processing . I wish I had more time so I could post process it again.

I mostly used curves and levels in with luminosity blending mode. I also used color balance to cool down the colors a bit and a lot of dodging and burning to add drama.

Wow, I didn't expect that. I think the subject makes the photo. If you want ribbons you should move to Iceland and try to fit this ship into every challenges :P.

Well congrats kiddo, knew you´d take the "full house" or all three colors soon, just didn´t think you´d do it all in one month, hehe :) Pleasantly surprised that is :P Now all you need is a 4th place and you are set to go!

Damn these Iceland-ic photographers...they're all too good!

Anyway, this is has a definite "WOW" factor. It almost makes you wonder if it is truly black and white, but you know it's not by the hints of blue.

Absolutely stunning, I give this a 9.

Could be I'm just looking for excuses to mark down Icelandic pictures, but the sea and sky are not as grey as you have made them here. Maybe they are, but it doesn't look that way, so...
That's a shame, because the picture as a whole benefits from being monochromatic.

Wow, what a charged scene! That's a sculpture, I take it?

This is a great example of how a 2-D photo of a 3-D artwork can show the photographer's touch through framing, choice of lighting (even if it's a time of day to put the sun in the right spot), and choice of background (heavy, roiling clouds as opposed to a blue sky).

Very nice picture!

But there are three things that could be better:

1) There are jaggies on the "ship".
2) There is halo around the "ship".
3) The horizon is not level.

But - the photo is attractive, and I hope the best with it!

This is a nice shot. But, given that the main feaute is a sculpture, it seems to be trading strongly on someone else's artwork. A nicely composed shot, though - moody sky.
