Funny title. :)
Ordinarily, I'd suggest framing the horse's head further in. But the face is so dead square-on facing the camera that it makes a really nice stopping point as my eye sweeps up the body. And for this challenge in particular, it's great to fill nearly the entire width with B&W.

I believe the intention of the challenge was to take a b&w photo in color mode. This is why desaturation was discouraged. To make it more challenging. I don't think the challenge was to shoot a color photo with b&W in it. It may be a suttle difference in interpretation. |

Very beautiful colors, good focus. The angle of horse feels too much 90°. In this situation i would go for portrait.7 |

Grayscale that I have does not have any green on it. Nice pic of the mare. |
