 Crushed Ice with drops of acrylic colors. I used wine glass filled with Crushed ice and drops of acrylic colors. I used Canon EOS viewer to set the saturation and color tone then I used Picasa to apply sharpness and crop.

Doesn't fit the challege description (something colored on the same color background), and could use some better compostion.

Nice idea but this looks unappealing due to the oddly colored whatever it is. I also can't seem to get how it fit this particular challenge since the background is nowhere near any of the other colors.

DNMC - Subject should be set on same color background.

A very colorful subject, but a plain grey background? Well lit and good technicals, but not right for this challenge.

I think you missed the mark on this one. IT needed to be a colored subject with the same color as the background. I'm just not seeing that in this image. I'd have one color in the glass, off center it with some negative space to one side and put it in front of a mat board of the same color.
