 Although we don't remember it, there was a time when people lived in cabins, made their own clothes and used exclusively candles to light their nights.

I loved the light coming in the window. It was so familiar, and yet rather strange looking at this scene. I hope I captured it well.

this subject had so much potential of being a winner. all elements I see are "pure gold": the colors, the light, the subjects. its a pitty that your composition is not well chosen. I sugest you reread the "rule of thirds" in this website... this might help

Yeah good, but I think to really pull off what you're looking for you needed a bit more 'modern' in your contradiction.

I really like the idea, I am not sure the cropping was the best. My eye keeps getting drawn to the window, rather then the clothing and shoes
