In response to your request for a comment on this photograph:

The most engaging thing about this photograph is its vibrancy of colour, which is usally a very satisfying element. Beyond this, for me anyway, there is not much else that strikes me as interesting, and the technical merits of the photo, from my limited experience, are not particularly ground-breaking. You've chosen what comes off as a dead-centre composition, which, as I'm sure you know, must have a specific purpose in the frame in order be carried off well. Consider another angle, where your subject remains the sign, but where there's more to the right or left of it to consider. If this is the only angle that works, and I kind of infer that from some of the other photos of it in your portfolio, then in my opinion this subject will remain kind of static and unappealing, unless it means something to the viewer. Specific meaning isn't a reason not to take a picture, but you have to expect others not to "get it". This is especially true of literal representations of something, such as this image.

Having said that, I do like the way the roof at the lower portion of the sign lifts up and supports the rest of the composition. The clouds are a nice frame to the rest.
