This is a lovely photo, so full of emotion. Who doesn't remember getting into Moms bed when they were sick? The girl even looks like I did at that age. Techincally lovely as well. You should have scored in to top ten easily! |

Awe. This didn't score as high as it should've. It definitely says nostalgia. One of the best fits for the topic IMO. I like how she's snuggled down under the covers. The bedpost in the foreground is a bit big and bright maybe, but it adds some depth so I'm not sure I'd get rid of it anyway. Great emotion in this shot. I gave it a 7. |

She's looking quite comfy and the white and orange drapes I think make the nostalgia for this photo along with the bedposts. Did you try one with the eyes closed??? Other than that, great shot, I like it. |

Oooh that looks comfy - I'm sure I've slept in that bed before. :D
I remember those days too - but my Dad gets fed up if I do it now coz there's not much room now. Great shot with lovely DOF. Could have straightened it up a bit though! |

The old brass bed, I get it... Nice interpretation. |

Very nice way of showing the idea. My personal recollection of such a time & age was not so much getting in the bed as jumping off the wardrobe on to it. Boy was that some thick feather mattress cover. Difference between boys and girls I suppose!
Well done. |

The blurry bedpost is very distracting to me, I would have possibly taken the photo from a different angle. |

I'm not sure how I feel about the bedknob. In one respect, it has to be there to establish depth, in the other respect, it's distracting... |

the fuzzy bedpost focus is very distracting. if it were in focus, it might frame the picture better. |
