 As befits the title, this was simply handled. Shadows/highlights to bring out the colors and smart sharpen just because.

after the challenge: INteresting. I patterned this shot using the concept of Zen Photographer John Daido Loori whose work is just splendid. Unforunately for me, my interpretation of the concept didn't resonate with our voting community. //www.dharma.net/johndaidoloori/

Sedimentary geological strata or archaeological horizons, whatever, it needs a little better viewpoint. I wonder how that might be achieved. Zen is more about a single pebble than stratum.
