I find the slope on the right detracts from the path and feel this image would have worked better in portrait rather than landscape (MHO) I do like the light on the trees and it does 'feel' like a peaceful place :o) |

sorry, but this just doesn't convey the ideas of zen to me, really. the composition is a bit off as well because there doesn't really appear to be a single focal point of interest; almost can't see the Woods for the trees... also, the right hand side is too dark and shrouded in shadows. it's probably to do with where you were standing, the mix of bright light and shadow makes it a really technically difficult photo to get a balanced capture, which is frustrating because there looks like a nicely lit area just a few feet ahead of you. 4. |

I really like the compostion and the exposure, it is just a shame that the CA is so heavy. |

Focus seems a bit off here, but the idea was great |

This is a pretty picture, and although I can sense the quiet along this path, the photo itself is very busy to the eye. The slope of the path, the light along it, the leaves, the trees, all make it a bit busier to the eye than I'd like to see in a zen challenge. |
