Thanks for the comments very helpful.
It was only after I posted the shot that I really looked at cropping right down to just the swimmers, and your all correct it does make a far better image.

I think you could get away with cropping a little tighter and getting rid of the crowd to focus more on the swimmers. But this is a great shot! |

Love the action and colors. I wish the it was cut a little closer to the swimmers with out all of the crowds and signage. |

A tight shot on those bodies would have been a great action shot - Just feel all the action getting lost in the surroundings |

Nice opportunity for the challenge...seems just a tad out of focus to me...maybe a little sharpening in edit could be added? It's probably just me... |

Shame your position was not a little further forward. Feel this could have been improved, action wise, by a severe crop amongst the competitors. There is too much info for the viewer. The crop would encompass some splash and a bunch of the compets diving in. |
