Taken on whale watching tour out of Anacortes, WA. We had to go to Canadian waters to find the Orca in the evening light. They are quick to do anything spectacular and it is extremely difficult to catch them at it. Also, you are on a boat that is at the mercy of the waves and wakes around it giving you a most unstable platform from which to shoot.

A more tight cropping (without the mountains) would made this photo a lot better imo
