I agree what others said about the background but beyond that you did a great job of making the subject stand out. The image is also nice and crisp.

I am definately a fan of skateboarding, the selective desat doesn't seem to help this photo. Excellent action shot.

The pants seem just too blue against the rest of the photo...certainly shows action though...how was the landing?

I think I would have preferred without the selective color (B&W or Color). Otherwise great shot.
