| The highlights are burnt out and it's hard to evaluate something at this small size, but I have to admit it's growing on me as I look back at it. Bump up. |

| as soon as this popped up, i thought, wow, like it! i love the small proportions of the picture; usually a small picture looks a bit dopey compared to all the other submissions, but this time it just looks completely right. i love the tight crop, approve of the high contrast, and generally just love it. the title is perfect too - it really does have a happy demeanour and style... feels like a nod to happier times and era's, really. excellent picture, and kudos on the bravery regarding the size. 10. |

| As no doubt you've already heard, you need to make it bigger. Putting that aside, I like the retro feel of the shot. |

| I know you know this but it is too small. Had it been bigger I think I would have liked it. The exposure is good for the subject and it certainly has personality. |
