Cool shot.

I do agree that the two in the background seem a bit out of place.

deserved so much better than 29th Steiner...I think this challenge had so many underrated shots and this was one of them imo

Best in the challenge in my oppinion, I'm so angry to see white-backgrounded-pieces-of-shit beat creativity like this.

i think everyone was right was the background fighters. the stance on the left works, but the puncher is downright hilarious. I think this was an awesome shot and should have been top 15. And, of course it is staged, and shouldn't bother anyone. If it does, then never go to a movie or open up a fashion magazine. The shot could have stood on its own without the background fighters. Keep the creativity flowin.

Flashback ... violence shouldn't be so blossoming. But it is, you've achieved a realistic look into a world nobody truly belongs to.

Reminds of Fight Club / Snatch. Cool shot.

the guys in the back are funny - for some reason that draws a lot of attention - really fake looking punch. Pretty cool overall though. the lighting is great. 7

You did such a great job with the processing to make this look very "fight club"ish. and not overly bloody either. well "I" don't think so anyway. lol. I hope you do well. top ten at least. great job. 10

yep, you stopped the motion. the question is, how did you do in appealing to the viewers and voters ;-)

Nice shot (if a bit gross). If you were going for the colors of the film, you've just about nailed it. Just try bringing the reds down a bit in the highlights. Good job!

Hot damn this is a cool shot! Um, no pun intended there. I really like how you've captured the hit and the spray of blood and saliva, makes this look incredibly real, the added bonus of the other to "fight clubbers" (again no pun intended hehe)in the background add the little extra to this 10+ shot IMHO. Well done!

"Great Job" from the "Great Job Baggie"! Okay. This is hard to comment on, as who likes violence? Because I don't like violence, it's hard to look at it. BUT. I'm going to try to separate myself from that feeling, and try to judge this. It is a very well executed shot. The perspective is wonderful, with the tilt of the camera seeming to get into the action. The waterflow (or is that blood, yuck!), coming from the mouth of the victim in the foreground is very good. It is very realistic, maybe that is why I struggle with this. The details are all there for this one. Even the hair looks like he's been in a sweaty brawl! The background pair adds interest to this shot, and thank God, it takes my attention away from that poor soul in the foreground! The use of color is great, somewhat tonal, and the use of lighting is nice as well. It deserves higher than the 8 that I gave you, so I am upping this to a 9, but reluctantly because of the subject matter. I won't deny it's creativity and originality by keeping your score lower than it deserves. You are actually pretty courageous for this shot.

i only just watched this the other night, and yes, you've captured the Fincher style exactly (though, there can only be one fight a time, naturally). the slightly muted, gently brown tinted colours works very effectively. a brutal and evocative picture, fantastically staged and taken; 10.

This is great stop motion scene, but the two actors in the back totally ruin the scene for me. With such realistic action in the foreground the two in the back seem to be playfighting. I really like how you captured the color of the movie though.

ick - but nicely done. I get a 'raw' feel from the picture - fight club indeed. I also like the angle and the composition - the guys in the back help the viewer better understand what is going on. Excellent!! One of my favorites!!! 10

Why is he drinking water while being punched? Really to much saliva to be believable.
Nice photo anyway.
