 On a foggy afternoon these guys were preparing to head out into the Pacific. I changed the time to morning in the title as it semmed to sound better to me.

The only real issue I have is that the rocks just above the dingy are so intrusive into the image.

Curves
Gradient Map to convert to B&W
Resize
Add border
USM
Save for web

Post Challenge:
So far this is my highest ranking image. I did learn a lot from my Stationary submission and the simplicity of this shot helped (see, comments on images do help).

Yeah, this is nice, I dont see the rocks as a problem, in fact I think they help to keep the people framed a bit. Nice image.

The border is a bit much IMO. Would rather have seen the picture be a little larger rather than such a wide border. Otherwise a very nice moody shot. The black and white works great.

This makes me think of a landscape photo more than transportation, but I like the shot.

This is a pretty picture. The fram suits it well. It is way too short imo. I would have liked to see more of the boat and guys and less space on the left. Maybe a crop to where the tree line starts.
