I like the perspective on the little boy. Too much of the sky seems overexposed though. |

8 - Like the focal point. Nice simple clothing which works well with the tones. Difficult, but just a litle more 'pop'/detail on the kite and possibly (depending what you had to work with of course), a fraction more room at the top of the frame, especially so the top of the child's hair wasn't cropped - but fairly minor. |

The subject matter fits this image very well. I suggest you try a square crop, as it would eliminate some of the negative space and the very tall, out-of-focus, piece of grass on the left without loosing any of the perspective or charm of the image. 6 |

Awesome photo! The perspective is perfect and I think you totally nailed the DOF on this one. The out-of-focus grass in the foreground actually works for the image and the composition of the shot is awesome. I think I may have panned slightly up though so the top of the frame wasn't so close to the boy's head. Great job though! :) |

Nice depth of field and a great presentation of this classic subject. Photographing kites and people is not quite as easy as some might suppose. The monochrome? makes the photo stand out. 9. |

I like the idea of this. Has a timeless feel to it. You could have cropped out the left third of the shot and made it more in portrait orientation, and it would have been just as effective. I know the grasses indicate that the camera is on the ground, but there are enough of them on the right to work, without those distracting ones on the left side. |
