This picture in some ways characterizes the current situation in israel. A religious Israeli man sits and sullenly ponders outside of the \\\\\\\"World Peace Center.\\\\\\\" As you can see, he does not seem very hopeful towards future peace.

I like this one. Like your composure. Having the negative space really adds to the "thinking" nature of the shot.

Nicely processed. Lovely composition. Looks like he has a headache though LOL :)

the world peace center...is THIS where it is...no wonder all the contestants for Miss Universe can't find it, the sign is too small! ;-)

good image...perhaps lacks sharpness

What really and trully makes this shot interesting and compelling is all the elements in this composition. The man sits outside the building with locked door. His stance and body language with his one hand on this forehead and the other resting on his knee comes off as either he is lost in thought or has been waiting a long time. The fact that the door is a dark black color AND there is a lock on the door invokes the idea of being shut out or locked out. A closer look (I wonder how many will stop to see it?) at the sign off to the side of the door states "The World Peace Center". With that little addition to the composition it trully sets a powerful visual of a world waiting for peace or a world waiting for the door to peace to be unlocked and open. Kudos to you for spotting this. Great eye! My only critique is since the words on the ceramic sign are essential to the message you are trying to convey they could be more legible. A simple way to do it in PS is to select either the individual words or use a square to select the white tile with everything in it. Then play with levels or a brightness & contrast.

extrememly interesting building. very old world charm to what i assume is the outside of a synagogue? this photo brings up great religous questions and a depiction of inner struggle. beautiful 9

World Peace and the padlock. Seems to suggest World Peace is only available to those privileged to have the key.

I think its ironic that the sign says 'world peace center' and he appears to be locked out.

Very nice portrait. Would like to see just a bit sharper.

Very emotive, especially if you study the picture as a whole(sign, man, mans clothes, etc.) Good job

I think this photo in black and white would have had more impact.
