Too much sharpening? The detail is lost, the colors are wierd, etc. This is a good concept, but the execution falls short. |

when i voted, i gave this a 4. though there are aspects i liked, i felt the discolouration and fringing in the sky and on the near wing to be excessive. the smoggy haze, the brownness of the runway, and the look of the other aircraft in terms of angle, lighting, feel, are all really good. it's the sky, plus that really bright reflection on the tail, that lets you down. |

I don't think you could have chosen tougher lighting conditions to capture this image under. Although the fake rainbow and the glare off the tail wing are interesting to some degree, this image is hard on the eyes and not very engaging to look at. |

Unfortunately I think the sun on the tailplane detracts from what could have been a great shot as it has caused the fuselage to lose definition. |

I like the photo - has a nice feel - gentle color. |

Did you have your polarizer on? |

As I view this on my monitor, there are some bizarre artifacts of light in the sky. Lens flair? Whatever they are, they distract from an otherwise super photo. |
