Love the rich warm tones of the golds, oranges, and reds! It really projects a warm summer day spent in the ocean. Love the silhouette of the surfer and the golden ball of the sun as it sinks into the ocean waves. My only critique, and a little one at that, is that the mind fills in the blanks for us - we know he must be on a surfboard but it is not prominently visible. He appears like he is leviating on the surface of the water. If the shape of the board were more visible than it would improve the composition.
