i thought i had already commented on this but i came across it again and apparently i haven't. this is very well done. kind of gives me 'the ring' feeling. very well done and i'm sure you've sold a few of these already.

this is a composite of four images - the wolf, the bg with the tree and sky, the sheep on the grass and the birds - many layers of different opacity, all covered to B&W then overlayed with a tone to get this look, a scan of a paper bag was used to add the texture - the scann was resized and stretched to get the smoothness I wanted - Thanks for asking Jon!! |

GOD this is AWESOME. I don't know if it's several layers, but I love the whole image. What a terrific photo. The placement of the sheep, wolf and birds is perfect. I can see this on the cover of a novel! Wonderful tones and post editing. I like how the wolf almost is "ghostlike."
