 Maybe this doesn't quite fit in this challenge, but it is taken from the ground, hehe.

I used two grad filters. The Cokin P120 and P121
It is converted to Black & White with a channel mixer adjustment layer.

8 - Nice. Wish it was 640 height. Toning works well. Like the compositional balance and lines/'movement'. If the quality wasn't there to make this bigger, perhaps a frame might have given this a little extra, who knows.

Crop about an inch off the top. Other than that, I like it. Works well in black and white

WOW VERY dramatic lighting really pulls the viewer into this shot. I also like how the weeds frame this path forcing you down it into the sunlight. Well done!
